When the descent has run its course and the serpent force has surged outward, a subtler motion arises. The commotion of externalization subsides, and what once moved beyond the body begins to dissolve and flow back within. This is the threshold of absorption, when both body and field are permeated with void-light. It is at once an inner transformation and a discipline of reintegration.
The Shift After Externalization
The serpent, no longer distinct and coiling beyond the form, melts back into the self as radiant void-light. What had once pressed upon you as an external force is revealed to be your own nature, purified through return. The principle is simple: what is cast out must rejoin the whole in a transfigured state.
The Absorption Process
The current disperses into the tissues and subtle layers until no serpent remains, only the suffusion of energy through every part. In this stage the body ceases to feel material; it is experienced as a lattice of light. The teaching is that essence displaces form, and matter discloses its hidden translucence. The task is to regard the body not as an obstacle but as a vessel of transparency.
The Softening of Structures
As light penetrates, rigid shells loosen and fall away. Emotional residues, husks of personality, and long-standing identifications seem to melt. A new openness is felt, where the boundaries between self and the surrounding field become less defined. This is dissolution: the softening of fixed forms so that Nous may pass freely. In alchemical terms it is the solve that precedes the new coagula.
Dissolution of Residual Densities
With the flood of void-light, distortions are undone. The remnants of parasitic force and imprints upon the sacral or solar plexus vanish. The field becomes hollow yet radiant, emptied of burden and filled with quiet clarity. The practice here is one of release: grasp nothing, and allow the dissolution to complete itself.
Integration of Void-Light
There is no serpent, orb, or worm. There is only void-light, whole and undivided. Bones, nerves, and cells are sensed as irradiated, re-woven in translucence. Somatic transparency begins: the flesh itself learns to transmit Nous. This is reconstitution, the body remade as temple. The training is to perceive the luminous body as primary, and the material form as secondary.
Experiential Tone
The atmosphere is hushed. Time seems to pause. Identity softens, less “I am this” and more “I am held within.” The body feels prepared, waiting for the descent of Logos. The counsel is to remain still and receptive. One should not pursue visions or force phenomena; the work here is to allow.
Symbolic and Functional Meaning
The katabasis has run its course. What was expelled returns in transfigured form. The body becomes a cathedral, transparent to void-light and ready to anchor sovereignty within space and time. The cycle is complete: descent, purge, return. Though quieter than the chthonic descent, this stage is vital. It marks the turn from clearing to integration, preparing for the next passage, in which the body is entered fully and life is lived between planes.
Practical Counsel: Regard this stage as stabilization, not as finality. Practice sensing the bones as luminous, drawing void-light through the pores, and allowing emotions to pass as transparent waves. The aim is not fleeting ecstasy but endurance: to form a body-field capable of bearing the descent of Logos without fracture.
